Effective problem solving occurs when a diversity of voices and perspectives have a seat at tables of power. We have a system that significantly favors corporations and those with great personal wealth. Citizens United did not help and the messaging around the economy does not share the reality that corporations are buying up tons of real estate and CEOs are amassing even greater percentages of new wealth growth. I live on Long Island and witness guys in million dollar homes and boats on the sound that cost a quarter million drive around in $60,000 pick up trucks with Trump flags. Yes I bet they are suffering. You may denigrate liberals but they are not the reason for half the American population not being equal under the Constitution by standing in the way of ERA ratification. If women had had full and equal participation in government all these years they would not be relegated to reproductive vessels in many states and potentially all. So Trump might be an inconvenience for some or entertaining for others but is sufficient reason for my daughters to leave this country.
