And Why I Can’t Watch Football Anymore

For the purposes of this piece, the term eunuch is not based on its literal Latin origin but rather the informal definition of an ineffective man, a political eunuch.

And not just the political eunuchs embodied in former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy or Senator Lindsay Graham or JD Vance prostrating himself at the throne of Trump, but in the majority of the male Trump electorate.

Because everything about voting for Trump is antithetical to what we consider the definition of masculinity. Strength, courage, sacrifice. Nope, they have proven they have none of that.

Military might? The greatest military on the planet will now be the lapdog of Putin’s whims. Remember Helsinki 2018? Trump was so cowed by Putin that the only thing missing was a leash. Putin did toss him a ball, though.

And did you hear during half time yesterday that an unknown far right candidate miraculously ascended in Romanian polls this weekend? No? Putin knows, as do the algorithms that now have Calin Georgescu looking to lead Romania back into Russia’s arms.

Of course, foreign policy will be strictly transactional going forward. All the various world leaders will bromance Trump while holding the puppet strings as…
