Hmmm. My point is that there are men who share similar life goals as women. If we want to challenge sexist norms, we can’t turn around and say all men harbor misogynistic beliefs. Being an effective therapist means listening without judgment and encouraging positive self-efficacy, not imposing my frame of reference and shutting the door to potential insights that include greater empathy for all. Not sure which school you attended.
