I wasn’t surprised. I wrote about this on Medium before the election that the attacks on the Biden-Harris policy would lead to electing Trump whose plan would be to do just that. It’s Shock and Awe, privatize for US profit. Netanyahu allowed October 7th for a similar reason. Now Trump will help Putin carve up Ukraine for its minerals and promote US corporate interests. None of this is a surprise. People were so busy criticizing the previous administration that was at least was making efforts at diplomacy and not hegemony.
