I would like to move from adversarial corners, which is why it is important to resist defining people. I'm a tele-therapist licensed in numerous states. I talk to people of all ages, backgrounds, demographics, socio-economic levels, etc. You name an ethnic background/religious affiliation/etc, I have pretty much spoken to them. I say this because I listen to them. I want them to educate me about themselves. It is my role not to make assumptions because of their gender or background. Assuming women only want tall guys with a 6 figure income or that all men lie and cheat should lead me to lose my job. We all need to listen more and be present to one another. The virtual world can never replace that.
