It’s Time to Take the Ego Out of Politics

Aside from several lame attempts as an elementary school kid running for the student council, I have zero political experience. What I did observe then, as I do now in the world of grown-ups, is that oftentimes it is the one who can wow the audience with a funny joke or insult or make empty promises like recess all day and no more math class. And they won much of the time.
