Yes, yes I have. And why not? The cheers and adoration of the crowds, the camaraderie of the team, the pampering by the athletic trainers massaging sore muscles, a well-negotiated contract and bonuses, not to mention those insanely lucrative endorsement deals. Who wouldn’t want that? The attention, the glory, the accolades. Helluva pay-off.
