Part of the problem is that the International Court of Justice in The Hague has no enforcement power and has to rely on the individual countries to police and enforce human rights rights abuses. The U.S. has not ratified its treaty and so the ICC has no authority were American women to seek justice should Trump and Project 2025 come to pass. All the more reason women worldwide must stand in solidarity for human dignity everywhere because the structures we have are failing us mightily.
