Please let us not forget those who do not choose to have sex. The number of girls in the foster care system who have been sexually abused is staggering and they have no one to advocate for them. And too many women share with me in therapy that their first experience with sex was a boyfriend who climbed on top of them and somehow forgot the definition of consent in the moment.
