Rambling is good! And I agree on many things you write, and yes, I am complicit ordering from Amazon. Musk should be irrelevant, but he is not. With power comes influence, and he has millions and millions of followers who believe his ingenuity makes him an expert in any field. It does not. It is an uphill battle to correct the inherent inequities of our economic system, but it can be done. Ronald Reagan cause great harm to the middle and working classes with his trickle down theory which simply transferred more wealth to the very top. Its effects are being seen profoundly decades later. Like Musk and anyone of his ilk, Rupert Murdoch, for instance, have tremendous influence and use it to create inaccurate, skewed narratives to sow fear and division. If they can keep the middle class punching down and not scrutinizing them, they win. Now the Supreme Court backs them up. So keep being skeptical because a system that fiercely protects power in the hands of the few hurts us all.
