When Roe was overturned I marched in NYC with thousands of others but we did so “nicely”. Meaning it took place on a Saturday, with permits, permission, couldn’t block traffic, etc etc. for one brief moment a group did block traffic on the Brooklyn Bridge, they obliged when told to move aside by police. Non-violent protest still has to have an impact and so we cannot be polite and accommodating.
