In ideal situations, women would inform a man he will be a father based on her decision to proceed with the pregnancy or conversely, let him know she is opting not to continue with it. It's the 'not' ideal situations that makes this essential-domestic abuse, family pressure to proceed or not to procced. Oh that we could live in an ideal world!
