We need the energy and passion of the Civil Rights era. I marched in NYC when the draft first leaked. It was a Saturday and briefly when marchers blocked the other side of the Brooklyn Bridge cheers went up as the traffic cane to a standstill. Then they dispersed when told to by the police. Why do we march on a Saturday with permits and permission? I say we block all major thoroughfares on a Monday morning and not move. I will happily sit on the George Washington Bridge but can’t do it alone. We have to risk it all and not hope a small donation to the Democratic Party will do a thing
