You argue not to generalize women who do not have children and yet generalize about pregnant women. Why can’t we recognize some people are more self-focused and insensitive than others and during times of heightened anxiety these tendencies can be exacerbated? Let’s not return to the mommy wars of the 80’s pitting working moms against stay at home moms. Instead we can aim for the ideal that all people regardless of gender or parenting status not judge or project their beliefs onto one another. I prefer to live in a less adversarial world.
